With much more than four,000 building technologies that enable persons with disabilities to reside far more productive, independent and fulfilling lives, this academic discipline has emerged to offer human services professionals with a range of skills and theoretical information to ensure that assistive technology (AT) users are in a position to access and advantage totally from advances in the field.
