A News Blog From The CEH News Group

Heather is a science writer and the former characteristics editor of Science & Spirit magazine and Science & Theology News. Au fait, I don’t consider science can prove something religious, they never think anything that is not tangible. Thank you moonlake, for venturing into one of my much more controversial articles and for voting it up and sharing! Lots of atheists claim that science has confirmed that God does not exist and I know that is why you gave the examples of some of the times (not all) when science has been incorrect. I understood the purpose of this hub was to point out that science could be valuable often occasions, but it isn’t excellent. I in fact identified several articles that said Einstein determined that there is no such factor as gravity.

Men and women who think science is at it’s pinnacle proper now and as a outcome can state unequivocally that God doesn’t exist and that science has verified it are arrogant wishful thinkers. Because numerous atheists actually continue to attempt to make, and have created the argument in the previous, that science has established God does not exist, I do not see how this hub is in the least bit straw man.

I do believe in God and do agree that God can not be confirmed or disproven in think there are some factors science just cannot clarify. Quit trying to use science to prove or disprove God simply because science cannot even get the easy issues correct that I have spotlighted in this hub. You criticise science for getting issues incorrect, but you appear to be unaware of, OR have deliberately omitted to mention, that religion has usually got it wrong.

Science has been verified to be incorrect so numerous instances that to rely on it as a basis of absolute reality in any offered circumstance is unwise. I really like science and am very interested in the massive vastness of this universe, and I never think many of the so called ‘facts’ scientists say are details. I agree science is a crucial portion of our lives and wonderful strides have been made, especially in the last 100 years, but once more, practically nothing can compare to the glory of pure creation and how every little thing functions together…planets throughout the universe hurtling at wonderful speeds and seldom hitting!

What a blessing it is that God does let man with his science to commence generating sense of quite complicated troubles, but we will never come close to fully understanding something no matter how advanced our science becomes! Hope you get a chance to view the videos on gravity because it is fully distinct from what it was when we learned about it in college. The videos are so useful in explaining so I feel most men and women will recognize. Science is not yet in a place exactly where it can prove much of anything much much less whether or not or not God exists. I said men and women who think about they can prove God’s existence with imperfect science are arrogant.
